Module 2: Virtual, Self paced - The Energy Body in Pregnancy and Birth

Module 2 includes deeper learning of restorative postures for pregnancy, guided imagery for the birth journey, as well as pranayama, meditation and ayurvedic self-care practices specific to the unique needs of pregnancy and postpartum. For 2021, this module will be self paced and virtual.

About the Event

Module 2 (40  hours) includes deeper learning of restorative postures for pregnancy,  guided imagery for the birth journey, as well as pranayama,  meditation and ayurvedic self-care practices specific to the unique  needs of the pregnancy and postpartum person.

In the Module 2 training, students will:

  1. Explore the subtle anatomy of the body including the koshas and chakras.
  2. Confidently lead students in and out of key restorative postures for pregnancy and postpartum
  3. Learn how to teach various breathing techniques (pranayama) and meditation techniques for pregnancy and birth.
  4. Discover Trigunas (Sattva, Rajas & Tamas) and how they can support a prenatal practice.
  5. Learn how to support mental and emotional health with prenatal yoga postures and techniques
